As part of NAIDOC Week 2025, The Station is hosting a celebration of First Nations voices, talent and culture. The event features a headline performance by J-MILLA, one of Australia's most exciting and respected First Nations hip hop artists. J-MILLA is a Marranungu rapper from Darwin, known for blending hard-hitting social commentary with high-energy beats. From breaking cycles of trauma to mentoring remote youth, his music uplifts mob and speaks truth. With national awards, viral tracks, and over 300k followers, he’s a powerful force in Blak music today.
This year’s NAIDOC Week theme, “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy,” recognises the strength of young Indigenous leaders and creatives. This event reflects that spirit with a lineup that showcases emerging and established Blak artists making their mark through music and storytelling.
Held on Kabi Kabi Country, this is a community event that welcomes everyone to come together in respect, celebration and solidarity. Alongside the music, enjoy delicious food trucks and a safe, all-ages space full of culture, pride, and connection.
