NAIDOC Local Grants

The NAIDOC Local Grants round for 2024 is now closed.

The Australian Government proudly supports National NAIDOC Week celebrations and funding through NAIDOC Local Grants for activities or events for First Nations communities and organisations across Australia to celebrate NAIDOC Week (7-14 July 2024).

The National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) manages the NAIDOC Local Grants and the application process which are delivered under Program 1.4 – Culture and Capability of the Indigenous Advancement Strategy. The NAIDOC Local Grants Round for 2024 closed on 3pm, Thursday 22 February 2024.

NAIDOC Week activities and events must be delivered in accordance with the latest government and health advice to limit the risk of transmission of COVID-19, particularly with respect to protecting Elders and those with chronic health issues.
