Indigenous Business Breakfast
Indigenous Business Breakfast
We have created the Indigenous Business Breakfast to provide an opportunity to recognise, support and showcase the vast array of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses across our region and to assist in making connections with potential retailers, suppliers, collaborators etc. During the event you will have the opportunity to connect and network, view business displays and leave with a goodie bag of local products supplied by local First Nations businesses. Come along for a delicious breakfast, network and converse with other business owners and be motivated by our incredible guest speaker, Jarin Baigent. Jarin is a Wiradjuri woman and founding member of Indigenous business collective TradingBLAK and sportwear brand Jarin Street. Trading Blak was founded in response to the disempowering and harmful impacts of misrepresentation with the Aboriginal business landscape and is dedicated to supporting the growth of the Indigenous business sector. Jarin also founded activewear and yoga supplies brand Jarin Street which aims to provide ongoing ethical and sustainable support to artists who contribute their work. Jarin has recently launched the first ever Aboriginal owned fashion retail store in a Westfield centre, Jarin Street x TradingBLAK.

Welcome to NAIDOC.
