National NAIDOC Innovation Award CategoryCommon Threads is forging a new pathway to build Indigenous power and drive systemic change that centres the aspirations of our people - for Country, for community and for our rights. As a new First Nations-led organisation and fund, led by Larissa Baldwin-Roberts and Millie Telford together with Dr Jackie Huggins AM, Common Threads is designed to build and mobilise the power of First Nations leadership, movement building and changemaking, by centering Indigenous ways of knowing, being and doing, to drive solutions to the world’s wicked problems; namely: climate change, economic inequality and systemic injustice.
