"Witnessing historic and horrific atrocities against our people, lands and culture. Advocating, struggling and taking up the fight for equality, justice, civil rights and social change.
In this workshop led by Akala Newman, a Wiradjuri/Gadigal multidisciplinary performer and songwriter, families will be guided through creative exercises to develop a unique song concept, to think about the powerful meaning of words and how we can express our ideas and experience through song.
