The National NAIDOC Week Awards Ceremony is being held on Saturday 6 July 2024 at the Adelaide Convention Centre in Tarndanya (Adelaide) on Kaurna Yerta (Country), South Australia.
Under this year’s theme of Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud, the National NAIDOC Week Awards celebrate the outstanding contributions, achievements and Blak excellence of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across 10 award categories, including art, culture, education, sport, youth, Elders, innovation, environment and leadership.

ABC named official partner for 2024 NAIDOC Week
The National NAIDOC Committee and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation are delighted to announce the ABC will once again be the home of National NAIDOC Week celebrations as the Official Broadcast and Education Partner.
National NAIDOC Week 2024 will be held across the country from July 7-14, with the theme this year of Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud & Proud.

New Committee Members appointed, Calls for National NAIDOC Award nominations, and 2024 NAIDOC Poster Competition open
The National NAIDOC Committee is delighted to announce the appointment of six new Committee members. The Committee also invites nominations for individuals and groups for the 2024 National NAIDOC Awards, and encourage First Nations artists to enter the 2024 National NAIDOC Week poster competition, celebrating this year’s theme, Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud.

The Albanese Government is pleased to announce the opening of $1.7 million in grants to support local communities and organisations to celebrate 2024 NAIDOC Week and the rich and diverse cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians.
Held across the country from 7-14 July 2024, NAIDOC Week will celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
This year’s theme chosen by the National NAIDOC Committee, is Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud & Proud.

Aunty Lyn is a distinguished educator, Wiradjuri and Gamilaroi Elder, and lifelong advocate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s right and access to education.

The National NAIDOC Committee and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation are proud to announce that the ABC has been appointed the Official Broadcast and Education Partner of National NAIDOC Week 2023.
The National NAIDOC Committee acknowledges the ABC’s long-time support of National NAIDOC Week which, this year, will run from Sunday 2 July through to Sunday 9 July.

The National NAIDOC Committee is proud to announce this year's National NAIDOC Week Award Finalists! Selected from a pool of almost 200 nominees, these finalists exemplify the spirit of NAIDOC, which is a week-long celebration of Blak excellence across the Country.

Kmart Group has been appointed the Official National NAIDOC Week Poster Distribution Partner for 2023!
The National NAIDOC Committee and Kmart Group are proud to announce that the Kmart Group has been appointed the Official National NAIDOC Week Poster Distribution Partner for 2023.
This partnership will see National NAIDOC Week Posters distributed by over 100 Kmart, K hub and Target stores across the Country from early June 2023. Kmart and Target will display the posters at select stores and provide them to customers free of charge. This year, where possible, customers will be able to access the posters from the front of the store.
