The 2025 National NAIDOC Awards Ceremony is being held on Saturday 5th July 2025 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre in Boorloo (Perth) on Whadjuk Boodjar.
Under this year’s theme of The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy, the National NAIDOC Awards celebrate the outstanding contributions, achievements and Blak excellence of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across 10 award categories, including art, culture, education, sport, youth, Elders, innovation, environment and leadership.
The Awards Ceremony allows us to pay tribute to our people’s achievements whilst acknowledging that their work enriches our communities, our people and this country.
The Blak carpet, Blak tie event will feature a three-course meal, and an array of talent from our First Nations’ artists and dancers to the announcements of the award winners. The awards will be hosted by 10 News First presenter Narelda Jacobs, and Actor Mark Coles Smith. Perth’s South Summit has rapidly risen as a unique voice in the Australian music scene and will headline the night’s entertainment.
The formalities of the night will end with the Message Stick being handed over to the Traditional Owners of the 2026 Host City.
