South East NOW 2025

East Gippsland Art Gallery and Gunaikurnai Land and Waters Aboriginal Corporation (GLaWAC) proudly present South East NOW 2025. A collaborative exhibition across two venues, showcasing the work of seventeen artists. A vibrant celebration of Aboriginal art, culture, and community. The Bush Café at GLaWAC is open Monday-Friday and will be open on Saturdays for the duration of the exhibition. Entry is free to both venues and everyone is welcome. 

Artists featured include:
Bradley Brown, Leann J Edwards, Dr Aunty Eileen Harrison, Ian Harrison, Derek Hayes Jnr, Alfie Hudson, Chris Mongta, Luke Mongta, Adrian Morgan, Jennifer Mullett, Shane O’Shanassy, Alice-Ann Pepper, Ronald Edwards-Pepper, Patricia Pittman, Alan Solomon, Colin Thomas and Ray Thomas.

Friday 20 June at 5.30pm – East Gippsland Art Gallery, Bairnsdale
Saturday 21 June at 11.00am – GLaWAC, Kalimna
