We are celebrating NAIDOC Week 2021 on Monday, 5th July at our Centre. Join us outside City of Karratha building for the opening ceremony at 10am, followed by a Big Breakfast at Karratha City Shopping Centre on the grass area between the Mall and Australia Post. Enjoy kids’ activities, dancing, singing, painting, yarning, Art Gallery displays, Indigenous fashion parade and more throughout the centre. Event details: WHEN: Monday 5th July 2021 WHERE: Karratha City Shopping Centre (Grassed Area between Post Office and Centre Main Building) TIME: 10AM – 4PM This is a Free community event that we sincerely invite all from our members community to attend. NAIDOC Week Activities on 5th July 2021 10am - Flag Raising Ceremony - Outside City of Karratha Administration Building. 10:30am - Big Breakfast - Karratha City on the grass area near the Australian Post. 10am to 3pm - Children cultural activities - Karratha City on the grass area near the Australian Post. 11am to 3pm - Musicians & Storytelling- Karratha City on the grass area near the Australian Post. 10am to 3pm - Juluwarlu Art Group walking puppet Show - Roving performance. Indigenous Fashion Parade organised by Blue Beanies Project - Roving performance. Bush Medicine Demonstrations - Karratha City on the grass area near the Australian Post. NAIDOC Week Activities from 5th to 11th July 2021 9am to 4pm - Wangaba & Juluwarlu Art Gallery Display - Karratha City near Boost Juice. 7th & 8th July 2021 from 10am to 2pm - Children cultural activities using paints and arts & craft - Karratha City near Kmart.
