This year, Bodriggy is celebrating Naidoc Week with a live performance by a suprise impovised music group, accompanied by a live painting from proud Dja Dja Wurrung and Yorta Yorta Blak Fulla ‘Enoki’ as well as the launch of our first gallery exhibition celebrating First Nations artworks from around the country.
‘We would like pay respect to the roots of jazz and world music. We’d also express our gratitude being apart of the future of music. We extend our gratitude to the original people of the lands we create on, such as, the Whadjuk Noongar people of the Noongar Nation and the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. We’d also like to pay our deepest respects to any first nations/colonised listeners of the world.’ Special Feelings.
3RRR Host of ‘Feel The Floor’ Ethan Savage will be warming things up from 6pm and playing an interstitial set whilst the band have an intermission.
