NAIDOC Up Late, Healing Country through Music
NAIDOC Up Late
Join soul flavoured singer-songwriter Budjerah, eclectic musical icon Mo’Ju (AKA Mojo Juju) and emerging electro-pop duo AYA J for an intimate evening of music to heal country on Barangaroo Reserve’s beautiful Stargazer Lawn. An al fresco evening of music and vibes, NAIDOC Up Late also features First Nations cultural dance performances and a bespoke food experience for A-Class ticket holders, alongside a musical line-up that spans modern R&B, pop, electro and blues. Coodjinburra man Budjerah, from Fingal Head in NSW, channels D’Angelo in debut single Missing You, from his Matt Corby-produced debut EP. Triple J called Missing You “effortless R&B”, while Pile Rates described it as “one of the year’s best debut singles”. Spanning genres from blues to pop, award-winning music icon Mo’Ju (AKA Mojo Juju) brings her diverse talents to the intimate atmosphere of NAIDOC Up Late. And rounding out the line-up are the sweet, summery, shimmering pop sounds of the Gold Coast’s AYA J, made up of singer-songwriter and Gumbaynggirr man Angus Field and American drummer Sam Miller. Triple J called their sound “seductive and warm”.

Welcome to NAIDOC.
