Kevin Gilbert: Family stories
Experience the work of MCA Collection artist, poet and political activist Kevin Gilbert through poetry and spoken word.
Inside the current Kevin Gilbert Artist Room of the MCA Collection: Artists in Focus exhibition, his children, grandchildren and loved ones will be sharing his poetry. Reflecting on the legacy of the artist's practice, spoken word recordings of Kevin Gilbert will be played from a project developed in the early 1990s in collaboration with the Central Australian Aboriginal Media Association (CAAMA).
