Led by Mundanara Bayles, this session provides leaders with practical insights and skills to engage meaningfully with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
Mundanara has appealed to leaders to acknowledge the wisdom of the traditional owners: “You have a privilege to engage with the culture of this land – how do you see the culture of this land. It is part of you if you live in Australia,”
Drawing on Aboriginal wisdom and guided by the Terms of Reference developed by Dr Lilla Watson, participants will explore how ethical, relational, and culturally informed leadership can strengthen organisational strategy, inclusion, and decision-making.
“I have a deep sense of obligation to share knowledge that has been shared with me,” says Mundanara.
