Celebrating Our Elders: Walk-in Indigenous Health Assessments During NAIDOC Week 2023!
We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming NAIDOC week celebrations, where we will be embracing this year's theme of "For Our Elders" and making a concerted effort to support our Indigenous communities. On Monday, July 3rd, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, we kick off the week with a fantastic event that includes a Welcome to Country, face painting, footy merchandise giveaways, food, coffee, and even healthcare packs giveaways. It promises to be a memorable day of celebration! In addition, we have organized Clinical Yarning sessions throughout the day, Professionals from Audika (Hearing) and Diabetes Education will be present to provide expert advice and support. But that's not all! From Monday, July 3rd, to Friday, July 7th, we are hosting a full week of Indigenous health assessments. Indigenous health assessments will be available as walk-ins between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. These assessments are open to all first nations people. This is a unique opportunity to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of our community while prioritising health and well-being. We also encourage community organizations to share this invitation and spread the word. Let us come together, support one another, and celebrate the resilience, wisdom, and contributions of our elders during this NAIDOC week.

Welcome to NAIDOC.

We acknowledge all First Peoples of the beautiful lands on which we live and celebrate their enduring knowledge and connections to Country. We honour the wisdom of and pay respect to Elders past and present.
