Brisbane: Empowering Pathways: Celebrating First Nations Excellence in STEM
Taking place on 12th July 2023 at QUT Gardens Point Campus, the First Nations Career Event stands as a testament to the strength and talent of First Nations communities, showcasing their growing presence in STEM disciplines. Representation and diversity are at the core of this event, which aims to highlight the accomplishments of First Nations individuals and their profound impact on shaping the future. Throughout the event, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in panel discussions, keynote speeches, and networking sessions. Esteemed panellists, who are accomplished First Nations professionals from diverse STEM backgrounds, will share their personal journeys, experiences, and insights. By exploring the intersection of cultural heritage and contemporary STEM practices, they will inspire and pave the way for future generations. We cordially invite professionals, educators, students, and community members who share a passion for First Nations empowerment and the promotion of STEM to join us in this celebration. This event provides a unique platform to engage in meaningful discussions, gain valuable knowledge, establish connections, and ignite positive change in our communities. Speakers will be announced soon. Save the date and stay tuned for further details, including the confirmed panellists and registration process, which will be shared in the upcoming weeks. Let us unite in embracing the talents of First Nations individuals, fostering inclusivity, and honouring their cultural heritage. Together, we can inspire others to pursue careers in STEM and create a brighter, more inclusive future.
