AimBig NAIDOC Community BBQ

Enjoy a Welcome to Country, a delicious BBQ lunch, face painting for the kids and a chance to contribute to a collaborative community artwork. There will also be a local display of traditional arts and crafts, showcasing the talent and stories of our region.

Everyone is welcome to come along, get involved and help celebrate culture and community.

AimBig Employment warmly invites you to join us for our NAIDOC 2025 Community BBQ on Wednesday, 9th July from 10:30am at Proserpine Pioneer Park, as we come together to celebrate the strength, culture, and legacy of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

This year’s theme, “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy”, marks a milestone 50 years of NAIDOC Week. It celebrates the enduring achievements of Elders past and honours the emerging young leaders who are shaping a stronger, empowered future for Indigenous communities across Australia.
At AimBig Employment, we are proud to walk alongside our Indigenous customers, supporting them through career development and life skills as they prepare for meaningful employment. We deeply respect the history, cultures, and lived experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in our local communities.

We are committed to working hand-in-hand with local Elders, community organisations, and employers to ensure our services are culturally responsive and impactful.

Welcome to NAIDOC.

We acknowledge all First Peoples of the beautiful lands on which we live and celebrate their enduring knowledge and connections to Country. We honour the wisdom of and pay respect to Elders past and present.
