Youth & Community Indigenous Culture Celebrations

We have an afternoon and evening of fun activities full of aboriginal culture. VACCA will have activities set up. We have Hip Hop workshops by Indigenous Outreach Projects, Basket Weaving with Aunt Marg Murray & Indigenous Astronomy with Krystal De Napoli. Stay for the afternoon or come for each session. You must book for basket weaving though! You'll work up a sweat with the hip hop workshops but you'll need to rug up at night to look at the stars with Krystal! Welcome to Country 2.15pm Basket weaving 2.30-5pm VACCA art & Culture Activities 2.30-5.00pm Hip hop workshops 3.30-5.30pm Indigenous Astronomy 6.45- 7.30pm + BYO picnic and drinks and snacks + Picnic rug is a good option too + There will be a sausage sizzle too. Bring some cash!! Snags $2.50. Drinks $1.50 + There will be a coffee van!! This is a youth and community family friendly event. This event is drug, smoke, vape and alcohol free.
