Wathaurong Flag Raising & Community Day
The Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-operative are hosting a Flag Raising and Community day on Monday 4th July to celebrate NAIDOC week. The event will kick off at 11am and go till 3pm.
The day is for everyone to get together and celebrate our culture. All are welcome - mob and allies.
A Welcome to Country will be performed with Smoking Ceremony and dancers, followed by Flag Raising. Activities included kids area, wildlife display, music, BBQ, and NAIDOC Awards to be presented.
