Warami
2021 marks the third season of WARAMI, a festival celebrating and commemorating First Nations culture in Parramatta. The festival runs from 26 May to 11 July. For over 60,000 years the Burramattagal people have called Parramatta home. WARAMI recognises and celebrates their continued connection to the land and community. Parramatta always was and always will be a gathering place. It also provides an opportunity for non-aboriginal people to learn and immerse themselves in the culture and traditions of local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. This year's Burramatta WARAMI festival has an exciting program of events aligning with National Sorry Day (Wednesday 26 May), National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June) and NAIDOC week (4 – 11 July).

Welcome to NAIDOC.

We acknowledge all First Peoples of the beautiful lands on which we live and celebrate their enduring knowledge and connections to Country. We honour the wisdom of and pay respect to Elders past and present.
