Walking Together with Kaurna - games stories and songs

Walking Together with Kaurna will share songs, games and stories about Kaurna Culture and Country.

Liesl has, as much as possible, been creating the games to be played with a sense of authenticity i.e. the possum skin balls, the wooden marbles, the old wooden cotton spools. Games will include:

PIRRHA

A ball spinning game of the Arabana mob of Kati Thanda (Lake Eyre), South Australia

PUTH

A ‘flip the cotton reel’ game played by the Murrinh-Patha mob of the Northern Territory

NANDRRA-RNA

A marble game of the Kokatha mob of South Australia played with wooden marbles.
