South Australian Government NAIDOC Calendar of Events

Each year, Australians come together to celebrate NAIDOC Week and to honour the history, cultures, contribution and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

In 2026, NAIDOC Week will be celebrated from 5 to 12 July with the theme 50 Years of Deadly. Government agencies, organisations and communities across South Australia will host events and participate in activities to celebrate NAIDOC Week. We encourage you to join in this year's events where you can. See the events in the online calendar here: https://www.agd.sa.gov.au/aboriginal-affairs-and-reconciliation/reconciliation/naidoc-week

Welcome to NAIDOC.

We acknowledge all First Peoples of the beautiful lands on which we live and celebrate their enduring knowledge and connections to Country. We honour the wisdom of and pay respect to Elders past and present.
