NGV NAIDOC CELEBRATION

Celebrate the 2025 NAIDOC Week and the theme, The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy with a day of free festivities dedicated to sharing First Nations art and culture with the whole family at the National Gallery of Victoria. Get creative in artist-led workshops, learn how bark paintings are made and relax with a storytime featuring favourite children’s picture books. Plus, see cheeky renditions of beloved camp dogs and dingoes in the Cats & Dogs exhibition – kids go free with any adult ticket purchase.

Welcome to NAIDOC.

We acknowledge all First Peoples of the beautiful lands on which we live and celebrate their enduring knowledge and connections to Country. We honour the wisdom of and pay respect to Elders past and present.
