Native Smudge Sticks with South West Kinships

Celebrate NAIDOC Week with a fun, interactive workshop with South West Kinships. Blend and bundle Australian twigs, leaves and flowers infused with eucalyptus and other native oils to create your own smudge stick; used for cleansing, purifying and removing negative energy.

A proud Noongar Yamatji Yorga facilitator, Sharon shares what elders have passed over generations from the oldest living continuous culture in the world.

Suitable for everyone 10 years and older. Anyone under 14 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Light refreshments provided.

Note:
Bookings are essential. Priority will be given to City of Vincent residents to attend this event.
Photographs and videos may be taken of the event.

Welcome to NAIDOC.

We acknowledge all First Peoples of the beautiful lands on which we live and celebrate their enduring knowledge and connections to Country. We honour the wisdom of and pay respect to Elders past and present.
