Native Food and Medicine Plant Promotion
Native Food and Medicine Plant Promotion
Join us at the City Farm Nursery on Sunday 11 July where we will be promoting Native Food and Medicine plants to acknowledge and support this year's theme of NAIDOC Week. "The NAIDOC 2021 theme is "Heal Country" and calls for all of us to continue to seek greater protections for our lands, our waters, our sacred sites and our cultural heritage from exploitation, desecration, and destruction." The City Farm Nursery will also be launching a Native Plant donation program. We are inviting visitors to the nursery to buy a native plant to be forwarded on to First Nations communities to assist in regenerating land in a way that heals country and supports communities' knowledge and connection with native plant food and medicine. Welcome to NAIDOC.

We acknowledge all First Peoples of the beautiful lands on which we live and celebrate their enduring knowledge and connections to Country. We honour the wisdom of and pay respect to Elders past and present.
