NAIDOC Week Live Music: Clive Morrison and Indigo Ellis
NAIDOC Week Live Music: Clive Morrison and Indigo Ellis
Join us to celebrate NAIDOC week with some incredible local Indigenous musicians, including Clive Morrison and Indigo Ellis on July 8 at the Old Midland Courthouse. Clive Morrison is a Noongar Elder who has been telling Western Australian stories through song for over 40 years. With some of the most authentic and insightful country music to come out of the state, he is an unmissable and unforgettable act. He will be joined by his band The Lost Boys. Indigo Ellis has performed at numerous NAIDOC events, as well as festivals, events and competitions both locally and nationally with many accolades to her name. Indigo’s first original song, “HOME” was nominated for 2 awards at the 2019 Naidoc Music Awards, the Jason Bartlett Best Vocalist Award and the Best Emerging Artist Award. Indigo was the youngest artist nominated, and won both awards.

Welcome to NAIDOC.

We acknowledge all First Peoples of the beautiful lands on which we live and celebrate their enduring knowledge and connections to Country. We honour the wisdom of and pay respect to Elders past and present.
