NAIDOC Portraits – For Our Elders (Kindy/Prep- Year 2)
Celebrate NAIDOC with First Nations portraiture during a live National Portrait Gallery program. Students celebrate the contributions of First Nations Elders in the National Portrait Gallery collection. In association with NAIDOC Portraits are used to encourage engagement in students, to build the knowledge and skills to look, respond and create. This program will highlight the achievements of Elders, by telling the stories of their lives. We will examine what we notice about who they are – their identity through the visual communications of art. Welcome to NAIDOC.

We acknowledge all First Peoples of the beautiful lands on which we live and celebrate their enduring knowledge and connections to Country. We honour the wisdom of and pay respect to Elders past and present.
