NAIDOC Keep the Fire Burning - Caloundra Community Centre

Come and join us as we gather to celebrate NAIDOC WEEK 2024, a time dedicated to honoring and recognising the profound contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to the rich tapestry of our nation.

The theme this year is "Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud!" It speaks to the resilience, strength and enduring spirit of Indigenous cultures that have been burning bright for thousands of years.

We will have several activities to share, learn and have fun, such as:
-Smoking Ceremony
-First Nation's Workshops
-Murri's Got Talent - Talent show
-First Nation's Stalls and Markets
-Free woodfired pizzas
-Music and more
This a free event, come along with you family (children are welcome, we will have a kids play space) and celebrate NAIDOC with us!

Welcome to NAIDOC.

We acknowledge all First Peoples of the beautiful lands on which we live and celebrate their enduring knowledge and connections to Country. We honour the wisdom of and pay respect to Elders past and present.
