National NAIDOC Week is a time for all Australians to celebrate and acknowledge the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Join us as we commemorate NAIDOC Week with an official ceremony raising the Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander, and Australian flags. The event includes a Welcome to Country, guest speakers, and a cultural performance.
Hastings NAIDOC Week planning committee and Port Macquarie-Hastings Council encourage all to attend this special event, as we come together to celebrate and honour the rich cultural heritage of our First Nations peoples.
This event is followed by morning tea, 10:30am at the CWA Tea Room, Town Square (next to Chop ‘n Chill).
