The Mirrabooka NAIDOC Event is a vibrant and inclusive festival designed to honour and celebrate the rich heritage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and communities. It aims to bring community together through ceremony, entertainment and cultural activities, fostering a sense of belonging, pride, and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture. Established in 2009, the event has grown to become one of the most popular events on the local NAIDOC calendar.
The event is organised by the Mirrabooka NAIDOC Committee. Committee members include local Elders, not-for-profit organisations, and community representatives.
