IWC NAIDOC Block Party 2026

Join us for a vibrant celebration of culture, connection and community at the IWC NAIDOC Block Party 2026.

As Australia celebrates 50 years of NAIDOC Week, IWC is bringing together staff, community organisations, Elders, performers and families from across Bundaberg and the North Burnett for a free community event that celebrates the richness and diversity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

Held at the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct on Wednesday 1 July from 10:30am to 2:00pm, the Block Party offers something for everyone, with a full day of cultural experiences, entertainment, food and family-friendly activities.

Visitors can enjoy:

Cultural performances and a traditional smoking ceremony
Live music and entertainment
Indigenous face painting
Elders Weaving Corner
Community artwork activities
Basketball activities and youth engagement opportunities
Storytelling and cultural learning experiences
Free hot tukka and refreshments
More than 20 community stalls and service providers

Whether you're looking to learn more about culture, connect with community, enjoy a fun day out with the family or simply celebrate NAIDOC Week, everyone is welcome.

Come along and be part of a day that celebrates culture, honours community and inspires future generations.

Bring your family, friends and community spirit and join us for one of Bundaberg's biggest NAIDOC celebrations.

Welcome to NAIDOC.

We acknowledge all First Peoples of the beautiful lands on which we live and celebrate their enduring knowledge and connections to Country. We honour the wisdom of and pay respect to Elders past and present.
