Immerse Yourself in NAIDOC Week at Yagan Square
Immerse yourself in the rich traditions and vibrant heritage of Australia's First Nations people with a range of free, family-friendly activities on Wednesday, 5 July. Engage in interactive workshops that will take you on a journey through Aboriginal art, cuisine, and craft. Unleash your creativity as you learn traditional painting techniques, the flavours of Indigenous cooking and indulge in hands-on activities. But that's not all! On Thursday, 6 July, be prepared to be mesmerized by captivating theatre performances from Yirra Yaakin - Australia's largest Aboriginal-led theatre company. Experience powerful storytelling, evocative performances, and a celebration of Indigenous narratives that will leave you inspired. This is an incredible opportunity to connect with the rich cultural heritage of Aboriginal Australians. Come together with your family and friends to celebrate, learn, and appreciate our First Nations people. Proudly brought to you in partnership with DevelopmentWA, Yagan Square and Tourism WA.

Welcome to NAIDOC.

We acknowledge all First Peoples of the beautiful lands on which we live and celebrate their enduring knowledge and connections to Country. We honour the wisdom of and pay respect to Elders past and present.
