Auburn Kinder NAIDOC Week Community Event

This is a special community event celebrating and learning about First Nations cultures, histories and perspectives. Families from across the City of Boroondara are welcome to come together for a late afternoon event filled with fun, interactive and creative experiences that inspire connection and understanding.

This year’s NAIDOC Week theme is “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy”—a celebration of culture, community and the shared responsibility of nurturing respectful relationships and knowledge for future generations.

We are lucky to have the local Elder Aunty Irene and Koori Engagement Support Officer, Seth Nolan, join us during this event to share their perspectives with the children and families.

Participants will enjoy hands-on activities, collaborative art and more as we walk together in learning and celebration.

Welcome to NAIDOC.

We acknowledge all First Peoples of the beautiful lands on which we live and celebrate their enduring knowledge and connections to Country. We honour the wisdom of and pay respect to Elders past and present.
