NAIDOC Week Special Showcase Matches

FOOTBALL Northern Territory is celebrating NAIDOC Week by showcasing the best indigenous football talent across the NT. NAIDOC Week is a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements. Football NT is marking the occasion by hosting two special games at Larrakia Park featuring an NT select women’s team (NT Desert Roses) against the Premier League’s only indigenous side the NT Yapas followed NT Select Men's Team (Northern Knights) vs NT Select Indigenous side (NT Wha Whas). This year too Football NT will be hosting a celebrity match in between two matches. It's a FREE event for everyone to attend. There will be more than just Football on this night at Darwin Football Stadium Larrakia Park.
