The Schools Reconciliation Challenge 2019 Online Workshop: Speaking and Listening from the Heart
In the lead up to NAIDOC, Reconciliation NSW in collaboration with Red Room Poetry invite teachers to book into this engaging online creative writing workshop presented by Internationally published, Gunai poet and author Kirli Saunders and best-selling children's author, Yvette Poshoglian. The workshops explore this year's Schools Reconciliation Challenge theme, Speaking and Listening From the Heart. Support your students to create an entry for the Schools Reconciliation Challenge, while exploring Indigenous languages, connection to Country through story-telling, the Dreaming and visual poetry. Don’t miss out as there is only one session for High Schools and one session for Primary Schools. The workshops will be produced by the leading edge, Department of Education Arts Unit technology team and will be an interactive and engaging way to connect with First Nations knowledge and voices.
