NAIDOC Week 2018 will celebrate the invaluable contributions that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women have played – and continue to play - active and significant roles at the community, local, state and national levels. Under the theme - Because of Her, We Can! At Westfield Miranda, we invite you to join us in celebrating NAIDOC Week with week long activities that the whole family will enjoy. View our events schedule below: Sunday 8 July: Live Indigenous art Join Zac Bennett-Brook from Saltwater Dreamtime as he creates an Indigenous work of art before your very eyes. Find out more about the man behind the mural, as we speak to contemporary Indigenous artist Zac about his creative inspiration, cultural past and career goals. WHERE: Level 1, near Telstra TIME: From 10am, all day Monday 9 - Friday 13 July: NAIDOC kids activity zone Join Harry Hartog for NAIDOC themed story time sessions every morning, followed by face painting and colouring in for the kids.
