Celebrate the work of master bark painter John Mawurndjul with the whole family this July school holidays. Flap your tail like a barramundi and weave your way through over 140 (160) works chosen by the artist and created over a 35 (40) year period. Look out for animals hiding in artworks, learn their names in Kuninjku and learn how to count in an Australian language! Back in the creative studios, get creative with materials and make a mobile that connects you and your family to your own special piece of country. This program has been designed for children and their grown-ups to collaborate together. Drop in as many times as you like throughout the week with your family ticket. Sunday 8 July – Friday 13 July 2018 10.30am–4pm, drop-in Ticket information Purchase your family ticket online or on the door. Family ticket 2 adults & up to 3 children (aged 4–12yrs) $2 per additional child Babies up to 1 year old are free MCA Family Membership Purchase a Family Membership and receive free access to Contemporary Kids throughout the year. A Family Membership also gives you free entry to ticketed exhibitions and discounts at the MCA. Vacation-care groups Advanced bookings are essential for all groups of 10 or more.
