Patricia Conlon

Patricia is a descendant of the Kuku Yalanji people of North Queensland, where her grandfather was taken from his country to Cherbourg in South Queensland. 

Pat joined the National NAIDOC Committee in 2012 and is Chief Executive Officer at Link-Up (Qld) in Brisbane. Pat is a former ATSIC Commissioner and Regional Council Chairperson, she has worked as manager of an Indigenous Coordination Centre in a remote area and as a Manager of Business Lending, with Indigenous Business Australia among other very interesting areas throughout her long career in Indigenous affairs. Patricia comes from a strong social justice background.
