What is NAIDOC?
NAIDOC celebrations are held around Australia in July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. For more information click on the What is NAIDOC section.
How do I nominate someone for a NAIDOC award?
Visit the Awards and Competitions section for details on how to nominate using our online forms or to download a nomination form to send in.
When are NAIDOC posters available?
Posters will be available from May. More information will be posted on the NAIDOC website.
When will tickets be available for the awards ceremony?
Tickets will be available soon. Keep checking the website for updated information.
How can I get a NAIDOC poster?
Go to our Poster Request section and fill in the online form.
I requested a NAIDOC poster where is it?
Posters will not be ready for distribution until May. After you request a NAIDOC poster please allow a month for delivery. If you do not receive it within the month, please send a message using our contact us form. Limited stock is available.
Where can I get promotional NAIDOC items?
NAIDOC Stickers, Badges and Posters will be available at your local Indigenous Coordination Centre (ICC). To be connected to your local Indigenous Coordination Centre call 1800 079 098, except in Nhulunbuy area call 1800 089 148 Kalgoorlie area call 1800 193 357 and Kununurra area call 1800 193 348.
I would like to use the NAIDOC logo for community activities where can I get it?
To request the NAIDOC logo, send us a message using the contact us form. A deed of licence will be forwarded to you providing the terms and conditions of use. Once the form has been faxed back to NAIDOC signed, the logo will be forwarded to you in PDF format.
What is the theme and focus city for 2008?
The NAIDOC Week theme for this year is: Advance Australia Fair? The focus city for this year is Canberra.

What does the theme mean?
The national NAIDOC Committee selected the theme to encourage people to think about the position of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and the need for equality to improve the lives and opportunities for Indigenous Australians.
