What NAIDOC Means to Me

The 2013 National NAIDOC Awards were held in Perth on 12 July where ten Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians were honoured for their outstanding achievements and contributions in their chosen fields.

The awards are part of NAIDOC Week, a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and an opportunity to recognise the contributions of Indigenous Australians.

People at this important event shared what NAIDOC means to them.
