Inspirational Indigenous people are making their mark in all areas of society including music, art, culture, community, education, environment, sport, employment and politics.
If you know someone in your community who deserves to be recognised for their contribution, then complete this nomination form in one of the following categories.
Entries for the National NAIDOC Awards close on Friday 27 April 2012.
Awards will be presented at the National NAIDOC Awards Ceremony and Ball in Hobart on Friday 6 July 2012.

Guidelines for eligibility
- All people nominated must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
- People aged 16-25 years are eligible for the Youth of the Year Award.
- The Person of the Year may be eligible to access a bursary of $20,000.
- The Scholar of the Year Award will be judged on achievement in secondary and/or tertiary study.
- Individuals who have completed a formal apprenticeship/cadetship or comparable training in the 12 months prior to NAIDOC week are eligible for the Apprentice of the Year Award. Proof of completion of such training should be included with nominations.
- Visual and/or performing artists including musicians are eligible for the Artist of the Year Award.
