Because of her we can: NAIDOC week celebrations (Foundation to Year 12) Duration: 1 hour Materials: Drawing paper and pencil per student Join our experienced live Learning Facilitators in a virtual excursion dedicated to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women. Guided by the 2018 NAIDOC theme: Because of her we can, students and teachers will ‘meet’ some of the significant Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women in the collection. This excursion offers the opportunity to celebrate the achievements, dedication, talent, influence, resistance, and continued contributions of our female first peoples. Content and delivery of this tour has been developed in association with April Phillips (Wiradjuri), NPG Art Educator in Residence.
