Traditional dancers including the Gubbi Gubbi Dance Troupe, free rides, lots of fun interactive activities for kids, Indigenous Traditional games, face painting, arts and crafts, bring the family and blanket along to enjoy music and entertainment from the band The Huntsmen. Looking forward to celebrating and showcasing the achievements of our Peoples.
Our NAIDOC Spiritual Service this year will take us to the Salvation Army Church on McCarthy Street. The service will begin with a Smoking Ceremony and will also incorporate a memorial or laying of a rememberance wreath to commemorate our elders who have passed. It will also be followed by didgeridoo and the salvation army brass band.
We aim to deliver our scriptures in language and also our Welcome to Country. This will be a inter denominational service which will be followed by a small morning tea for fellowship
Community comes together to raise the Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and Australian Flags in harmony

NAIDOC Cup is a series of 15 over cricket matches between 4 local teams
3 games will be played with a round robin format meaning 2 qualifying finals games will be played before the final game will determine the NAIDOC Cup Champions for 2017
